Adverising! The Viral Products. TechCrunch Rides The Popularity To A Low Cost Tablet PC

Of course I have a tablet PC, no two if you count Nokia N810 as a tablet pc. The Techcrunch Tablet pc is not much different from Nokia N810 as TC is asking for "Just a Macbook Air-thin touch screen machine that runs Firefox and possibly Skype on top of a Linux kernel." The Nokia tablet has all these qualities. Perhaps TC wants a larger screen? (Yes Michael mentioned in a comment that he wants a larger screen.)
So basically they are looking for hardware to fit open source Nokia N810 platform that is available from http://maemo.org/
From the responses at the initial post and the project site (see below) this might be something to look at. Yes I am happy with my Nokia N810 but if there is a tablet with larger screen like my IBM X61, I will jump. Heck at $200 I will join the project!
If you want to contribute, the project is here. Due to large number of comments, now the comments are here.

Viral Advertising At Skype Video

The Laughter chain advertised by Skype is actually a method to promote Skype Video. As we all love laughter, I guess a bit of a laughter over the net should bring some "smiles" or Laugh Out Loud, LOL.

You will find more information about Skype Laughter Chain here.
And I got the video from here.

"Web of Pain," Niche Viral Advertising With Cartoons.

Meet Sam, Ned, Vinny and Zoe, four characters who are in constant conflict trying to get websites built, running, and updated … yesterday! (They are still faster than me!).
If you thought that building and managing websites is rocket science, Sitemasher is going to and hoping to make you think otherwise. For this they have four people from the Manga world, that is if you call cartoons Manga characters.
Web of Pain, see the members above, plans to educated you about the difference between traditional website design and content management systems and sitemasher's methods of cyber life creation and management.
Sitemasher takes a novel approach in debunking the myth that building and managing websites has to be painful by spoofing traditional methods in its comic strip "Web of Pain," officially launched this week.

Viral Nike Advertising, Ronaldinho: Touch of Gold, 23,279,011 Views and Counting.

This hand held video of Ronaldinho if Brazil receiving the touch of gold (when he first gets the gold Legend). This was posted two years ago and still an active video and counting. I am a soccer fan and I have Ronaldinho's #10 Official FIFA World Cup Jersey in my collection. I think this will continue to collect more views and attract viewers until next soccer world cup in South Africa 2010, the truest world cup game.
