I had submitted a new blog on blogger.com on the Google Webmaster site. As far as blogger blog submissions go, you usually submit your
RSS Feed as your site map. But there is a slight problem as all blogger feeds are burned through feedburner.com and you feed URL will be something like;
There is nothing wrong with that but Webmaster tools expect you to enter a page under your original site URL, like;
and of course I entered "
rss.xml" because it is the default feed address for Blogger. But you will find an error like this;
So now what do you do, then I checked how my other blogs are submitting the sitemap! viola I have missed a bit of information, I should have submitted the information like;
Now you know, in order for Blogger feed address to work as a sitemap on Google Webmaster tools, submit the address as "
/rss.xml?orderby=updated"
